StarMap 3D offers a comprehensive and user-friendly star atlas app for both beginners and advanced astronomers. With its crisp and colorful high-definition Retina graphics, this app provides an immersive stargazing experience on your iPhone. Whether you're searching for planets, constellations, star clusters, galaxies, or nebulae, StarMap 3D has you covered.

One standout feature of StarMap 3D is its compatibility with the Retina display, ensuring stunning visuals that fully utilize every pixel on your iPhone screen. With over 15,000 stars at your fingertips, this app provides detailed information for each celestial body.

In addition to stars, StarMap 3D includes a vast database of 303 deep sky objects. These objects come with detailed information such as distance from Earth, diameter, apparent size and orientation, and morphology. Furthermore, the app features all 88 modern constellations, complete with lines based on the outlines from "The Stars: A New Way to See Them" by H.A. Rey.

To enhance accuracy, StarMap 3D utilizes location-based services (LBS) or Global Positioning System (GPS) support to pinpoint your exact location. Alternatively, you can manually enter your longitude and latitude if preferred. The app also offers adjustable date and time settings for accurate stargazing based on any specific moment.

For those who prefer a more interactive experience, StarMap 3D provides a Time Scroll feature that allows you to adjust the time instantaneously. Additionally, if your device features a compass, the app will utilize it to automatically align the map.

StarMap 3D offers two viewing modes: Planetarium Mode and 3D Mode. In Planetarium Mode, you can focus solely on objects visible in your current location or explore the entire celestial sphere. The 3D Mode provides a captivating visual representation of the universe in three dimensions.

If you're seeking even more features and expanded capabilities, consider trying StarMap 3D Plus, which offers iPad support, a larger star database, thousands of Deep Sky Objects, and original constellation artwork.
